So this is what Stage 3 of uncovering our original hardwood floors looks like. After removing the carpet & padding, then scraping up all the old tiles, it’s time to soak & scrape the old tar paper with hot water & Pine-sol. Thennn, we’ll either seal it or white-wash it.
